Matagorda is 4km from the centre of Puerto del Carmen and is a resort in its own right with the Centro Commercial offering a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants offering everything from pizza to paella Matagorda is only a 5-minute drive from Arrecife airport and a 10-minute taxi or bus ride into the more lively Puerto del Carmen for those looking for more things to do in the evening. Holiday/hotel available: Beatriz Playa. The compact resort known as Playa de los Pocillos grew up at the eastern end of Puerto Del Carmen, making it the perfect place to unwind.
