 Jandia: The modern, upmarket resort of Jandia lies on the southeast tip of the island, sandwiched between barren hills and a fabulous coastline. This resort attracts guests from all over Europe and is a popular spot for naturists. The spectacular beach seems to stretch on forever but you should take time out from lazing under the cloudless skies to visit the typically Canarian fishing village of Morro Jable which adjoins Jandia. The soft sands follow the coast for an incredible 32km. The coastal breezes make them a brilliant choice for experienced windsurfers. Evenings in Jandia more or less amounts to good food, good wine and good company, savoured in tapas bars and international restaurants. |
