The main areas of Hurghada. Hurghada now spreads along 35 km of coast with mostly seafront family All Inclusive hotels. Very popular among wind and kite-surfers and for all watersport lovers. Hurghada is a town that never sleeps, Hurghada has become in recent years a place to combine beach, dives and sun with crazy clubbing and bar-hopping. But there's more to Hurghada than just the three "D's" Diving, Drinking and Dancing. If you want more there's International eateries like the Hard Rock Cafe plus all the usual McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut and hundred's more eateries offering everything from Indian, French, Mexican, Italian, Thai, Chinese, German and many more! Daytime activities include desert safaris and day trips on camels, 4x4 jeep or quad bikes to take in the beauty hidden in wadis and the mountains. For Golf lovers there are two beautiful seaside golf courses just a short drive from town or there are some exciting go kart tracks in town, with karts for all ages and evening sessions when the sun goes down. There's also horse or camel riding including classes for beginners but if that sounds too exiting then there's an air conditioned bowling alley or if you just want to sit down out of the sun then there's an excellent cinema showing the latest blockbuster movies. El Gouna is situated 20 km north of Hurghada
and is a small but active town with shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, discotheques, cinema, art galleries, museum and an aquarium. There's plenty to do in and around El Gouna including horse riding at the Yalla Horse Stable which also has ponies for the children. There's also an 18 hole golf course and if you're in to year round golf then a stay at the Steigenberger Golf Resort would be ideal. If the Red Sea is better for you then there's boat trips, fishing, waterskiing, wakeboard, glass bottom boats, canoe, catamaran, wind surfing, snorkeling and diving of course. If you want to keep dry then you could try out one of the professional Tennis and Squash courts - and of course sand volley ball on the beach.
