Ibiza Holidays:
Ibiza, often called the White Island for its typical architecture, became a major tourist destination during the 1960s, being then famous for its "Hippie-Culture" and nudist beaches. Today Ibiza has widened its appeal to cater for families and older visitors, but any visitor to the Island should remember that San Antonio is like Amsterdam with sunshine. The young ones are attracted by the island's rollicking nightlife, which starts in the afternoon, at the beaches and in the centre of town and continues until dawn in the numerous discotheques. Unless you're one of them it's best to keep away from San Antonio. Having made it plain and clear about San Antonio the rest of the island (including San Antonio Bay) is totally different and some great resorts and beaches can easily be found. |
