Playa de Palma: Probably the nicest resort on the south coast, close to the airport and just a few miles from Palma City, the beach is not only long but is extremely wide with lovely fine sand and a safe shallow slope into the sea. The beach is so large that even during the busy month of August you can still find space to sunbathe. Playa de Palma (Palma Beach) offers a great selection of open-air cafes and bars as well as numerous restaurants and shops to browse for souvenirs. Nightlife is laid-back with something to suit every taste. An ideal resort for families and sun lovers alike.
