Porto Colom: The resort of Porto Colom is situated on the southern half of the east coast of Majorca with parts of the port dating back to the 13th century. The large natural harbour is home to the local fishing fleet and pleasure craft. The beach area of Cala Marcal is of fine sand and has a small array of pedaloes and sun-beds available, there is a fair selection of shops for the everyday holiday essentials, along with more souvenir shops. There are a number of fine sea-food and tapas restaurants mainly centred on the harbour area with a few international restaurants to cater for the tourists. There are regular bus services to Palma throughout the day. The distance to the airport is 65 km.
